Introducing…Dr. Ezekwesili

Graduate woman in cap and gown holding a bouquet of red and yellow roses and a diploma from Florida International University, smiling outdoors on a sunny day.

I'm a psychiatry resident in the Greater Boston area with a passion for improving health outcomes, especially in underserved communities. I believe in the power of compassion, authenticity, and transparency to build strong connections and help create spaces where everyone feels seen, supported, and empowered.

Also,

I have a love for travel and mentorship! A world traveler in the making; I lived in four countries growing up and have visited a total of 14 countries and counting (USA, Zimbabwe, Ghana, Togo, South Africa, Nigeria, Jamaica, United Arab Emirates, Oman, France, England, Switzerland, the Bahamas, and Mexico). On the mentorship side of things, I had a convoluted journey to medicine, and I love sharing my story with others and encouraging them to continue pursuing their dreams, regardless of the circumstances.

nkemdilim

[ˈnke : mdi ˈlim] - Igbo

Nkemdilim (pronounced N-kem-DEE-leem) is an Igbo name that means “let what is mine be mine.” To me, it’s a powerful reminder to claim what belongs to you; your purpose, your voice, your dreams, and not let anything, not even self-doubt, stand in the way.
